We had a very busy day on Saturday, covering Helen & Declan's wedding, which saw us in Sheffield city centre and then onto Totley.
We headed to Sheffield on Saturday morning knowing this would be a busy one - with a ceremony, orchestral performance, and religious blessing ahead of us!
Helen had booked with us last year, and we have since been excited to be photographing our first city centre wedding. As are many of our couples; Helen & Declan explained to us that they are not very 'posy', and would prefer mostly natural images capturing of their day (which is what we do best!).
Another gloomy forecast greeted us for this wedding, but once again we got fairly lucky with the weather. We managed to get outside for all the required shots; just squeezing in some family group shots before the heavens opened.
Their wedding was such a brilliant, interesting day. We had a beautiful orchestral performance led by Helen's brother, and later on we witnessed Helen's Mum performing a religious blessing for the couple. It was a busy day, but one that flowed very nicely, with very little gaps or pauses during the day. We finished after Helen & Declan enjoyed their first dance, and were very pleased that they had loved their day working with us!
Another huge thank you to Helen, Declan, their families, and all the staff at The Cricket Inn, who were lovely company all day, and always willing to offer help when needed.
